Place: Tennessee River Park Memorial – 4310 Amnicola Hwy, Chattanooga, TN 37402 – Wreath of Honor

“NEVER FORGET NEVER FORGET means to never lose the memory of the 5 men who sacrificed everything for our freedoms. It means to honor their sacrifice, their lives, their families, their whispering hallowed brevity. Not a day goes by that I don’t think about GYSGT THOMANS SULLIVAN, SSGT DAVID WYATT, SGT CARSON HOLMQUIST, LCPL SKIP WELLS, PO2 RANDALL SMITH. The “Fallen 5” as they were called – I call them our heroes, my brothers, my purpose for being an American worth dying for. Every year I have attempted to personally sacrifice in the most honorable way. I have completed three 5,000 mile trips across the country 2016-2018, twelve days in my truck serving the homeless in Chattanooga in 2019, three six mile runs 2020-2022, a six mile canoe trip in 2023 down the Tennessee river to Coolidge Park to represent the NAVY. For 2024 I will run the flag down Amnicola HWY. I have driven 132,000 miles with their names on my truck. Every day I see their names in red. Every place I go, they go. And I can still cry like a man every time I think of the loss, but they did not die in vain. We who have served and do serve, know well the tragic possibility of death, but no greater love than to lay down one’s life for another. We also thank the Chattanooga Police Department, Hamilton County Sherriff’s Department, and the Chattanooga Fire Department for their bravery and continued, faithful service to our beloved community. Without unity in our community, we do not have a united country. God bless the Fallen 5. NEVER FORGET. NEVER FORGET July 16th, 2015.

Please share and spread the loving message to help heal our community and honor the Fallen 5.”

Sincerely,

Joshua David Kapellusch, USAF Veteran, Founder of the Fallen 5 Drive
